Notes-
- We will be keeping the same format as last year, but will be taking slightly fewer players in order to help with playing time. However, we are still keeping large rosters since so many players end up missing games due to family events, other sports, or whatever other reasons. While the bench might be big for the first week, numbers decrease week to week.
- We will be looking for volunteers to help coach and run the clock.
- Coaches will need to complete a background check if they are not currently coaching with a USA Hockey sanctioned team or middle/high school team.
- Coaches do not need loads of experience to coach! We are happy to have parents help manage the bench as an assistant coach with little hockey experience. Do you coach lacrosse? Join us! Played college softball? We want YOU!

- MGIHA is always looking for volunteers to join us to help plan events. Please consider joining the MGIHA board! We are a small non-profit that meets monthly and offers free or low cost events for girls.
- If you and your family are having financial hardships and need assistance covering the registration cost, please email info@mgiha.org and we can make it work. We want all girls to have the chance to play!
