Celebrate IIHF Girls’ Hockey Weekend with the University of Maine Women’s Ice Hockey Team as the Black Bears take on the Mercyhurst Lakers
October 11th 1:00 PM at the Alfond Arena, University of Maine, Orono
Admission to all UMaine Women’s Ice Hockey games is free and is always a great opportunity to see great Division 1 College Hockey action, featuring many of the top female hockey players from the US and Canada.
Brewer Youth Hockey and Maine Junior Black Bears will host an intermission party for the girls from ANY MEAHA Hockey Team (coed, girls, travel) during the second intermission. Prizes, pizza and more.
Immediately after the game: Free skate for all girls. Helmets recommended, skate rentals available.
4:15 PM – 7:00 PM: Free Hockey Clinics for all USA Hockey registered girls with the UMaine Women.
On-ice skills clinic and games for younger players (under 12) – 4:15 PM – 5:15 PM.
“Ask a Black Bear”, open Question and Answer session with players, followed by an on-ice strategy clinic and scrimmage for older players (12 and up) 4:15 – 7:00 PM.
