NEW PROGRAM: Girl’s Tier 4 Fall League

MGIHA has partnered with Casco Bay Hockey Association to provide a house league for players born in the years 2006-2010 that are still in high school. This program will run for 10 Sundays beginning September 8th  through November 10th.  The program will be games only, but there may be an opportunity to offer skills and drills sessions if there is interest and available ice.

All games will be on Sundays  starting late in the afternoon (typically 3:50 PM) at Travis Roy Arena or Casco Bay Arena and will not interfere with high school fall sports. The main intent of the program is to offer players the opportunity to skate and play in game conditions prior to the start of their regular high school season.

All registrations must be completed online – via the Casco Bay website. Please click on the Registration link on the home page. The registration deadline is 9/2 and the early bird discount rate ends on 8/15.  All online forms must be completed and submitted before the registration is considered complete.  ALL 2007 birth year or older PLAYERS WILL NEED to complete the Safesport Training before they can be added to a team roster.

Registration fee $500. USA Hockey Registration Required.

Please register and pay online. (through the Casco Bay website)

Girl’s High School Spring League

Maine Girls Ice Hockey Association works with the ADs and coaches of high schools across the state to provide opportunities for girls to learn about the sport, improve skills and build a community to provide a better ice hockey experience for the players.

Spring League is one of our biggest programs for high school players. The league usually consists of four teams playing eight games each at the Family Ice Center in Falmouth. This league usually begins in March or April and wraps up in June with 1-hour games on Sundays.

Registration fee $160 ($80 for goalies). USA Hockey Registration Not Required.

Please register and pay online.

Middle School Summer League

In 2023 we added a series of middle school scrimmages to our program list. It was such a success that we brought it back for the 2024 summer! This league consists of about 30 players that are divided into two even teams each week, and scrimmage for an hour.
